I was surfing the net and then my Nitro 5 suddenly freezed. Then the display went black, but the keyboard lights remained on. The CPU seemed to be on but the display is pitch black, forcing me to reset by long-pressing the "on" button. It has happened thrice already tonight, and I just bought this laptop last June 12, 2019. Please help. Thank you.

Hi. sad to hear it. Kindly try the below steps and check.
    Power Drain
    **************
    1)Unplug the AC power adapter.
2)Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off.
3)Search for a pinhole on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.

Kindly click "YES" to "Did this answer the question" if my answer helped you!
Thank you and have a Blessed Day  :3

I did what you said.  It ran well at first but it just crashed, again. Anyone else experiencing the same? It's under warranty. Should I turn it over?

When it crashes, it makes this sound whenever I click the mouse button. The cursor is moving, but I can't click anything. I did the hard reset again.
