Physical Damage Issue (Nitro 5)

I bought a laptop 5 months ago (Acer Nitro 5 NVIDIA 1050ti). I always hear crack sound when I used to open my laptop. Recently I found out that when I open my laptop the back panel of the screen slightly gets opened. I report that to Acer care they said you should have bought our full care program within 7 days of purchase which cost around 4000 INR. What should I do? I can't pay that much. They said this is physical damage and we can't repair the laptop, it does not cover in warranty. What should I do?

  • I do not speak on behalf of Acer, but in my opinion, this problem is a hidden vice, that is, a problem that already existed and that was not caused by the user! I believe that when there is a hardware problem within the warranty period, and this problem was not caused by the user, the warranty should rather accept the repair, see:
    2. Acer India will repair or replace any defective parts and correct any problems resulting from poor workmanship free of charge. Acer India reserves the right to use reconditioned parts with performance parameters equal to those of new parts in connection with any services performed under Acer India's limited warranty.
