I am writing this because i had a hard time configuring how to dual boot windows and ubuntu in my laptop which has optane memory enabled.
With optane memory active , dual booting is not possible. if tried , you will not see the partitions to install Ubuntu, instead you will see just one partition.
To overcome this, follow the steps below,
1. Disable optane memory ( By Intel rapid storage technology app ).
2. Install Ubuntu (or any other OS) normally, you will see the partitions as you have partitioned.
3. After installing, you can now enable optane memory.
