Hey everyone, I bought my Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-572 a month back and it randomly freezes up. I've checked all the solutions and updated everything but still its freezing up and its not like I'm doing some heavy gaming or anything, mostly I was just browsing on firefox (not even CHROME!!). I'm pretty bummed up, never expected this would happen to a new laptop.
Is there anyone going through the same thing? Or anything you guys know how to make this work?

Hi, try to do power drain in your unit and check by following the below steps.

    1)Unplug the AC power adapter.
2)Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off.
3)Search for a pinhole on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.

If doing a power doesn't work, try to do a Clean Boot in your unit by checking the below link.

rupulchandna what is the exact model and specs and if it freezes that means theres an issue with the IGPU drivers because the DGPU only works on games or when manually set to work with the programs themselves via nvcp have you tried safe mode with network to see if it still freezes is it overheating have you optimized windows and undervolted ? also if you only have 8gb memory i suggest you to upgrade to 16gb minimum dual channel, if its brand new as you stated just backup everything you need a perform an acer stock recovery reset (ALT+F10 on boot and not keeping your files option) to go back to stock because i have a feeling that if it was working fine it was windows updates that might had messed it up have you updated to 1903 of are you still on the acer stock windows ?
