Just so you get the idea... ...Double shot bugs out when you are on two of the SAME NETWORK.  You need to set up two separate networks going to the same gateway, that way you have 2 different IP addresses, and it "Sees" two connections.
If the new suite doesn't work well with your cards, use the older one.  Newer software does not work well with hardware it wasn't designed to connect with!  Besides, you don't need to tweak anything in the app anyway.  You just need to let it do it's work, and you can use it to monitor your network environment.  Best to adjust at the router, not in the software, bra.
That said... ...I did ok prioritizing traffic.  If you are going to use both interfaces on the same IP subnet, don't use the app, and don't let in run in the background.  It will kill your networking over and over.
You could set up your own balancing, which requires turning off IP6 in your adapters and then setting the IP4 software to a metric of 15 instead of automatic (on both).  This places them into load balancing mode, and allows IP4 networking to balance.  I do not know what the metric is for IP6, I just know that if you use 15, you will constantly disconnect.  I've been trying to find this, nothing yet.
    That's it.  Hope it helps.
