Hi,

I was trying to boot from bootable windows disc using external dvd drive. In settings menu laptop shows all boot options including usb, dvd drive, external hdd but when i press F10 while startup is in progress, to select my preferred boot mode, it shows only one option and that is default windows boot. How to boot from any other device?

    Good Morning Nkleet !

What EXACT model of your laptop?
    Is SecureBoot disabled on Bios?
Did you create the installation pendrive according to the system (GPT and UEFi)?
Did you enable BootMenu (F12) on Bios?

    3. I was booting from bootable dvd, not with pendrive. But once i booted using pendrive, it was not working. However same pendrive used to work in other laptops to boot.
    4. Dont know. But when i press F12, it shows boot options.

    You should then disable SecureBoot.
