I would appreciate some help with the following, I have had a serious Windows corruption problem and have had to recover from an image saved before I installed an SSD.
The recovered image has been updated and works well but is booting from the HDD. what do I have to do to clone the good system to the SSD? The SSD still has the old Windows system image which is bootable but gives loads of problems.
Do I need to format the SSD, I have got EASUS TODO backup free which tell me to delete the partition. The SSD is a Kingston 470 Gb.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi!!

    @Phil123

    To avoid OS issues again after reloading OS, I recommend you to 1st create OS backup on a USB drive through Acer Care Center application in computer. Clicking here will open up Acer Support article explaining about creating USB Recovery Drive using Acer Care Center.

    Once backup is created successfully, format both SSD & HDD completely. Later change BIOS mode from UEFI to Legacy. Then change boot priority order & make SSD as 1st boot device. Finally, use the created USB Recovery drive and install Operating System to the SSD. Once everything is done, again change the BIOS mode to UEFI.

    Hi Balatekie, thanks for your reply.

    I have made a USB recovery drive as you suggested. I'm a bit nervous about formatting my working HDD, can I form at the SSD and install the recovery drive there and once that is OK, format the HDD?  I assume that I need to do a full format of the SSD to get rid of partitions etc. what do you suggest for the best way to do this?

    Thanks for your help.
