When connecting my TomTom device through the USB port (checked both and same issue), it disconnects repeatedly and I have to turn off and on the GPS to reconnect. I HAVE already checked and rectified all USB power settings as well as the GPS device's sleep settings. When connecting the GPS to another PC, nothing is wrong.

    Molzen,

It may be a case of "Crazy Mouse" syndrome, it happens when Windows 10 (in it infinite bug ridden existence) accidentally classifies some USB devices as a "mouse" and it can be fixed with a simple registry edit. I have had the same issues with hooking Garmin GPS's via a serial to USB converter.

I hope this helps you out.  Google it and you will find the Reg-edit.
