Recently bought an Acer Aspire A515-52-51YG and I feel like the laptop's fan is constantly spinning.

As stated in the title, the laptop's fan is constantly working, going from a normal pace to a faster pace. This occurs even though I am just simply watching some youtube videos or playing a browser based game called GBF or just working on word/excel.

I haven't really installed a whole bunch of software...mainly just whatever windows update that happened automatically, downloaded chrome and discord.

As for usage...I don't really have a desk so I am basically using the laptop's box as a portable mini desk while sitting on my bed. The room it has plenty of ventilation...

The part number is: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I was wondering if this is normal and if it'd be possible to figure out what's going on?

Not recommended. An empty cardboard box is a fairly good insulator and would promote heat buildup especially on top of a mattress or bedspread. A piece of plywood would be better with laptop raised. Otherwise, the fan is trying to do its job under the circumstances. Jack E/NJ
