Hey, 1  months ago I purchased Acer Predator Helios 300 but 2018 model based on GTX 1060..( PH315-51-78NP)
Do you guys think should I replace to this Acer Predator Helios 300  based on GTX 1660 ti., model 2019 year , ( model laptop PH315-52-78VL) , and will i see more performance in games? and I heard in this 2019 model using only one metal blade and one plastic, but in 2018 model I believe have 2 metal blades for cooling.. and Does it hard to install SSD on your own? Because in 2018 model this instalation process ssd was super easy and there was no warning from Acer to voided warranty if u will install by yourself , instead bring to Acer center Thank you )

Sasha23 its up to you of course newer its always a bit better and the 1660ti seems to be kicking the 2060's and even at the same level of some 2070's in some benchmarks i had seen but it all depends on your budget and how much you are willing to spend i am pretty happy with my G3-572 i can play all latest games but again if youre not happy with yours just swap it

If its a normal 2.5" ssd its easy but the m.2 you would have do disassemble it all to be able to install it

Do you have a warranty sticker in your hdd bay ? thats not normal (they might do it in some countries but the sellers/shops themselves not Acer) but if you have it you cant replace it yourself if you have to break it in order to get the bay cover out i would cvontact the store where you bought it and thell them you want to upgrade your hdd and you cant do it yourself because of the warranty if they dont care contact acer support

Well I did not bought yet, I just still decide should I replace my Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-51-78NP (2018 model) on newer model Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52-78VL  (2019 model) because I still can exchange through Amazon of cource I have to pay  just  few hundred more$, and I wonder will it worth prfomance if I will pay on 300$ more , will i see more perfoance with gtx 1660ti, if I using now GTX 1060??
and how I see reviews from Amazon (USA), people said that if you do on your own it might be lose your warranty.. thats why I asking, how need to install it? nd I heard in this 2019 model using only one metal blade and one plastic, but in 2018 models 2 metal bladesI think,  does it?

Sasha23 Yes its worth if youre into the newest ray tracing games but if you arent the 1060 still a good gpu even mine still  rocks on all games but if you can exchange it as u said just for a few couple 100$ go for it you wont regret it but if you had to sell yours to buy a new one depending on how much you would get for you used one that was another story :) and the 1660ti properly tweaked benchmarks kill the 2060 in most games and in some its even at the same level as the 2070 so as you can see its not a bad investment and these benchmarks were done in the H300 2019 also its comes pre-undervolted from factory

PS: dont go with the amazon reviews they are mostly useless most of the times when it comes to laptops and hardware check some videos on youtube instead :)
