Aspire TC-730 J4205 BIOS issue with Intel AX200 Wifi card
I recently added a Intel AX200 Wifi card to my Acer Aspire TC-730 J4205 model. The Intel AX200 supports M.2-2230 and M.2-1216 interfaces. I plugged it into the M.2 slot. I am running Windows 10 Pro x64 OS. I downloaded and installed the latest driver from Intel website. The process runs smoothly, the Intel AX200 device and bluetooth show up in the device manager as expected, the WiFi works great until reboot. After rebooting the PC, the Wifi device disappeared from the network device section of the Device Manager window, but the bluetooth device stays intact. I can only make it comes back by two ways. The first way is to power off and power on the PC. The second way is a little wired, after rebooting I have to press DEL to go to the BIOS settings, and change the settings to default and save, this will make the Wifi comes back too without power-off. I think this is BIOS related bug which should report to the Acer engineers to solve in the next BIOS update. I flashed the latest BIOS_Acer_R01-B1_A_A version and the problem remains.
