There is nothing to worry, the model numbers/name are different from product numbers/names.  And you won't just see this in monitors, you'll see this is pretty much everything from computers, cars, to even desks and hardware. The box and sticker could be same for the whose series of the monitor model.
Every product name and brand has a different naming scheme, depending how much specs variations the product has. Product name is how people are going to remember the product and how it will be presented. Model number is always longer, and they're here to directly recognize which specs it has.
Simply stated, the model name is for consumers while the product name (or more generally used, the number) is for the manufacture and store.
The model name simply tells you which model device in question. For example in laptop, it does not specify the color, hard drive size, amount of RAM, accessories included, or pre-installed software.  The product number will specify all these information.  That is to say in a product number, there's a set of characters for the color, hard drive size, amount of RAM, specific packages includes free case speakers, etc, whether or not it includes a webcam, and on and on.
