Have you tried to use a HEATSINK in a 2280 PCI-E NVME SSD in Helios 300 G3-572-xxx?

I'm considering a heatsink with 3mm thickness like this one:

Does it fit?

2.54mm thickness, mostly it will fit but you should know it can touch the plastic back cover or at least have a small separation, maybe it will heat the plastic

Are you saying the gap we have to work with from the board to the cover is 2.54mm? I'm also very interested in getting a heatsink as I installed a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus and it does get hot enough to thermal throttle when doing big transfers.

FWIW I got the sabrent nmve + a thin 1mm copper heatsink with thermal pad and will be testing all of this soon, I hope. Once I get results I'll give feedback.
