Hello Guys,

I am in a dilemna. I have the helios 300 for a year and a half now. Since a week ago, i started facing an issue wherein the battery used to get connected and disconnected after reaching 90% charge, which would hamper my gaming experience. I went to an Acer official service centre and they told me it was a battery issue and i would have to get it replaced. I had also told them to service it which would mean cleaning and thermal paste. However, post the servicing, while playing Fifa 19, the temperature has been very high. From 90-97. Before the servicing, temperatures for Fifa 19 were between 75-82 degrees celsius. Please help me what to do. Also please let me know your thoughts if this is a battery issue as i havent replace it yet.

First try simply setting your Control Panel power plan to balanced instead of performance mode to see what happens. Also go to the elevated command prompt.  Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Compare design capacity with full charge capacity. Post screenshot if possible. Jack E/NJ
