Multiple extended monitors

Hi,

found out today that my Acer Predator Helios 300 PH317-52 does not allow to connect a monitor using the type-C USB port. I wanted to use that to have 2 monitors connected to my laptop as I'm a day trader and need to have multiple charts open. So what I have left is one HDMI port. How do I connect multiple monitors? I've heard about switches, routers and hubs but still confused.
WIll the graphics card support this?

Thanks!

Kristof

In this case, an HDMi splitter would do the job:

    Good evening kdekeuke !

    It's not a GPU issue.
Only USB-Type C 3.1 Gen2 connections with Thunderbolt support can transmit video signal.
Do the monitors want to use in which mode, extended or duplicate?

    Thanks MaCLane,
any idea how many monitors the graphics card would support and what type of splitter I would need?
I was looking at Amazon and there are so many. Some of them specifically say they don't support extended monitors. Others don't mention anything.
    Thanks again,
    Kristof

This is a big question ...
Some work well, while others do not.
A colleague who has a Nitro 5 tried three different options before finding one that worked.

Also get prepared for thermals going up the more monitors you plug in (if supported) more power will drain from the gpu so more heat will generate
