    Good night fx6800user !

The service manual is not available to end users.
To what specific jumpers does it refer?

Because ownership of this advanced for 2009 mother board i see no valid reason for holding back that manual for end users and seems to be a nonsense escape answer that is not very relevant as if you actually had the manual you would know there is 3 jumpers, however many of advanced PCI-E lane settings require that information to properly use the board as was intended when purchased.

I challenge you to provide this clearly not top secret and over a decade old technology, because i don't think you have it either i contacted Gateway all the way to Asia and no one currently working in any department seems to know how to find previous documentation , which clearly is abandoning customer support with a fairly lazy dismissive answer of no solution.

I maintain all employees who have up to now either been incompetent or abstractly dismissive of actually making an effort to locate a document only available within the organization as i proved is not a single valid source of that manual on the entire internet even on the way back machine cache archives....

I maintain all who have helped me so far are only accessing their usual convenient access docs to current boards and are actually not willing to take a bit of infinitive to actually find this manual in the company documents as i'm not the only customer who is desperately looking for this as well.... if you have had searched as much as i have in past 4 weeks you would be able to establish that's a fact and customers are wanting that manual but got left hanging by the buyout by acer and then archival into "not for end user excuse answer" its not H2SO-5h3 CHEMICAL FORMULA INSTRUCTIONS ITS A MOTHERBOARD.
Please take a bit of effort i'm sure somewhere that information manual is only available from within your organization and we as customers are counting on your willingness to put a bit of realistic effort to locate it . since clearly you wont allow us into the actual archives will you?

I want to upgrade my Gateway fx6803-25 motherboard x58 from an i7-930 to a xeon x5690 intel chipset. I replaced the original i7 with the xeon and received a steady beep when i turn on the pc. I thought, maybe i should update the bios, but the only bios update i found was on the Gateway website and is the same as my current bios: AMI P01-A0 dated 04/19/2010. Any ideas what my next steps should be? Does Acer have a newer bios update or may it be totally some other issue?  Need assistance... Thanks...
