Please help ,I need to replace the LCD Back Cover for my Aspire 515-51-563W laptop. I would like to know the procedures or instructions for doing so .  I would like to know if there is a service or repair manual for this model ,and if so ,where can I find it? Thanks Edward

    Hi Edward,
There are no repair manual available to the public, you have to rely on any Acer Service centre and  if you are not bothered about the warranty a local repair shop to replace it, on the other hand, you can fix it yourself as well, it's not very difficult if you prepare yourself, watch few youtube videos and take pictures while disassembling.
Here are the known main steps but you have to make adjustments as you go along:
    1. Remove the bezel and take away the LCD.
    2. Disconnect the camera and mic wires, also pay attention to WiFi wires( I couldn't see them), remove camera and mic assembly( this may not needed, if the new cover already have this part included)
3.Unscrew the hinges and separate from the main body.
LCD panel screws and hinge screws are of different size, I think, so mark them and don't mix them.
Installation of new cover is the reverse of this procedure.
I have attached a video but it's not for your model, just to give you a general idea of the procedure.
