Hi users of Acer products!  :) I'm writing to you because i've got a... lets say "problem" I'm owner of a Aspire A515-51G 84NJ (I7 version, MX 150). I'm not an addicted gamer or something like that but after work sometime i play World of Warcraft. Here is my problem, when i use laptop on basic stuff (youtube, facebook, etc.) it works fine even if it's on battery or pluged-in, but when i start play Wow, *****... it's start to electrocute me. Here's the deal: When i play other games like FIFA where mouse is not involved things goes fine. The only time when i recive shocks from him is when i play World Of Warcraft.
I've surfed on several posts on this community about
A515-51G models but i don't understand a lot from them...

I'm waitin' for a Acer Staff member to tell me what's wrong with this laptop...
Thanks in advance!

  • First, it is important that you understand that this notebook is not from the gamer segment! Second, are you connecting the notebook directly to a properly grounded electrical outlet?

    Hi @egydiocoelho
Ty for your response! :) I understood that a notebook is not a gaming product, but like i've said i'm not a addicted gamer so i've play games for 1 hour/day... i've try at least 20 outlets and no result. This phenomenom happens after almost one hour of "gaming" when my notebook is getting hotter and hotter.

I've try to figure myself what is wrong with this laptop but no idea...
  • It's strange that this problem only occurs in this game! Have you tried resetting the internal battery? Will the power adapter be able to provide adequate power when you use the notebook in games?

    Hi Laurence23,

I am sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Acer Aspire laptop. So just to understand better, the issue only happens when your gaming for more than an hour and you are using the touchpad?

Have you tried contacting our support channels in your region?

    Thanks,
