Are there any known problems in Win 8 that affect Mozilla, Sarfari or IE?

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire V5 with Window 8 (64 bit) installed and I am experiencing some issues when running any of the internet access applications.  I upgraded my memory from the original 4 GB to 6 GB.  When I first execute an internet access application (Mozilla, Safari, Chrome, IE, etc.), I have no problem.  However, if the laptop has been in Sleep mode or idle for more than 30 minutes, the problem appears.  Specifically the problem usually happens when I get back into the internet access application and resume browsing or reading emails.  When I do this and attempt to access an email, for instance, I am placed at the bottom of the message, and I am unable to get to the top of the message .  When I attempt to use the scroll bar or the scroll wheel to move up in the message, the system will not allow me to do so.  This also happens on any page I attempt to access.  It is consistent across all internet access applications. I have uninstalled the apps, and reinstalled them, and the problem persists.  If I restart or shut down the laptop and turn it back on, the problem doesn't reappear until the system has been left idle for about 30 minutes.   Is this a problem with Window 8, or a problem with my Acer?
