I want to know what type of M.2 SSD I need to install to my laptop and make my HDD as storage instead.
I'm just confused what is compatible on my laptop and I don't want to buy a wrong one. Giving a specific ssd model samples would be really helpful. Thanks!

Hi,
You might be able to install a M.2 NVMe SSD but check that one of your PCI Express Root port has maximum link width value of 2x, you can do this by installing HWiNFO 64 free program and follow the instructions in this thread:https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/543597/sata-iii-or-nvme-m-2-ssd-slot-inside-the-aspire-e5-576g/p1
