My current specs are
GTX 1070
I7 3.6Ghz
16GB DDR4
What can I upgrade to make it more modern and beefy and what cooling fits into this prebuilt case?

Im am worried that some components like CPU are soldered so any experience upgrading these?

    Good night Adiospotato !

What exact model of your desktop?
    Example: G3-710-UC11

Yes, there have been at least two generations of the G3-710 with either the sixth gen or seventh gen processors. The upgrade path for the two processor families are different, since you can't move from 6th to 7th without a motherboard swap and different memory. I don't believe the CPU is soldered on any of them though, so upgrading is feasible, though not always warranted.

    It should be AG3-710-{letter}{letter}{number}{number}.

There also might be a part number like "DT.B1PEB.004" that gives us the model, AG5W2 doesn't match anything I can find. The G3-710-ER15 and the G3-710-UR14 both have an i7-7700, 16GB of memory and the 1070 GPU, but there are several other models it could be. I think all the ones with an i7-6700 had 32GB of base memory instead of 16GB, so the seventh gen may be the only option that fits your spec. Is your processor the i7-7700? What HDD/SSD is installed?

OK, let's try it a different way... Right click on your start button and choose System. What does it show there? Maybe attach a screen shot.
