Best practices to increase the battery life span

I saw in the user manual that it says that its recommended to recharge the battery when it drops below 70%. But in the internet I found out that to increase the battery life span I should reduce the number of charging/discharging cycles and therefore I should charge it when battery is low. So I just want to know are there any best practices to follow to extend the lifetime of the laptop. Also when gaming should I remove the battery and work with direct current?

The general idea is if you use more than 30% of the batteries' capacity, recharge the battery rather than letting it sit for a long period (weeks+) partially discharged.
If you are not draining the battery down to 70% or lower, the lifespan will/should not be affected as quickly. Batteries that sit (for a long time) at less than full capacity have a habit of not being able to fully charge again.

Removing the battery is unnecessary. Simply charge it after use if you've drained any significant life from the battery while in use. It's that simple. If you're going to store the laptop without using it, ensure the battery is 100% (or close).

I read somewhere in the user manual that you should discharge the battery almost completely 3 times in a row and that the process optimizes battery life. although it says for a New battery I do it occasional anyhow but I usually run on AC

This is exactly my problem.. In my manual there is no instruction for how to start using the battery but there is usage information.. Since acer nitro is a gaming laptop, I wanted to know whether I should remove the battery and play when battery is 100% charged.
