Triton 700 Keyboard Problem

Some of the keys aren't working, but every key has the same problem, i need to press harder to make them work, other times i just need to let the key pressed and then it works. I've considered that maybe is a software problem, but i haven't found any update, or maybe is a hardware problem, the thing is I've cleaned them several times, used compressed air as well. I would like to have a manual for removing the keys and make a deeper cleaning. (I don't want to brake any key because the laptop has a mechanical keyboard).

I've had the same problem since I first received the lappy (Dec 2017).  I always use an external keyboard, so it was not a priority until now.  Sending mine in next week to have the keyboard replaced.  They said it cannot be done by the user and has to be shipped in.  I'll post turnaround times and result after I get it back.

Mine has been acting up as well. It's odd it comes and goes.  My laptop is out of warranty so the only place that I could find a replacement was http://cdrtd.com/products/laptop-original-keyboard-for-acer-for-predator-triton-700-pt715-51-united-states-us-new.html
hopefully this helps some other out of warranty people. I'll post how easy or hard the replacement is once it arrives.

yeah keyboard of that model it's not cheap.. i've got replaced it on warranty because space bar was bend (non the bar itself but where it rest) and I've watched the technician unscrew it ant it's a lot complicated (82 screws on the back of it to unmount it from the laptop), maybe u can try to unmount it yourself and blow compressed air to it from side.. it's a small layered sandwich...

    Hi Folks,
I am not a technician but been screwing around with hardware since 1980, so I have had some experience.
I had the same problem and no warranty, so I took off the back, disconnected the keyboard White flat cable (don't pull out lift the front of the retainer carefully, it like a clip to hold down the cable secure), then the Black connecter for the finger mouse ***** thing. The keys I was having problems with were 90p[lm. I loosened the screws on the top near these keys. You will need a PH0 driver or use some jeweler screw drivers preferably magnetic just in case you undo completely, then very slightly lift the layer just a few microns, get a Silicon pressure pack spray with an extension tube and spray into the top of where you loosened the screws holding the keyboard with this area to the top so the spray runs down then tighten the screws up very careful not to over tighten them,  turn over the keyboard and press firmly on the problem keys hopefully distributing the Silicon spray, then lay keyboard flat and spray around the problem keys with the tube still connected to the Silicon spray can.
Carefully attach the cables, make sure the black cable is stuck down and not impeding anything.

Next I fired up NotePad in windows and tested all keys, if they gave any problems I sprayed more silicon around the key and gave it several good hard taps.  Now all my keys are working fine.  If you don't feel comfortable taking off the keyboard, just try the Silicon Pressure can with the extension around problem keys.  Primary reason I took apart was to replace M2 SSD's with two 2TB drives (Samsung Pro) without Raid now it screams.  And two Volumes.

Worth trying, took me longer to write this than to do the job, and a lot cheaper.
