laptop cant read 2gb ram

i5-4210u
geforce 820m
4gb ram ddr3

why does it not can read 2gb ram?
it just can read : 4gb single or 4gb + 4gb
but it cant read : 2gb or 4gb + 2gb

i tried so many different 2gb rams, but it still cant read

    Hi, 2gb should be supported but it needs to be ddr3l ram to be compatible. Please look at the following information to get the details.

    Please check if you are using a DDR3L module.
    This model has Two DIMM slots that supports maximum memory capacity of 16 GB (using two soDIMM modules) with DDR3L 1600 MHz SDRAM 
    Each slot supports maxium up to 8 GB of DDR3L system memory

    The below listed are some of the memory modules (2, 4, 8 GB) officially supported by Acer for this model.
