It's been close to a year since I bought my laptop and haven't been facing any problems with booting it. But for the past 2 weeks, my laptop has been giving me blue screen error due to a recent update from Windows. The only way I am able to start my laptop is by hard crashing it and Disabling driver enforcement option in the advanced options section. Does anyone have a fix for it? It has been becoming highly frustrating for me. TIA

  • If this problem occurred after updating windows, have you tried restoring it?

I am not so sure about that because restoring my change a lot of settings of my laptop and could result me in losing some files so I was trying to avoid restoring Windows. But I don't have much experience. If you know the best safest way to do a Windows restore, can you please post it here? Thanks for your time and concern! :)

What is the specific BSOD error? It's towards the bottom of the screen when it happens, or it's logged in the Windows Event Viewer. This will help you pinpoint what is causing the crash. It could be related to the update, but it might not as well.

Hey @tobimaru thanks for the reply. The code that I am getting is 0xc000021a. It would say collecting error info and loads upto a 100% and gets stuck. When I turn on the computer using advanced settings and go to the updates under settings, it would say the windows update was not succesfully installed.
