Hi. I paid for 5 years warranty(2+3 extra) and laptop stopped working. So i sent it a repair to acer centre and they told me water damaged my motherboard. They offered me to buy new motherboard for about 400 Euros, and i refused because i am the only user and i dont remember that i spilled water on it.

I asked them for pictures and they sent me, but i still dont believe them because everything looks perfectly fine. I bought it only 6 months ago, and i am very responsible person. When i get something, it lasts for years.

Is there something i can do? Except going to court where i would probably lose to a big company and it would cost me 10x more than the price of the laptop?

Note: i also believe they dont even know what they are doing. I have a proof that they didnt even take out the motherboard, and before their price offer they told me i am not eligible for a repair because i opened the laptop. I sent them a phone call recording where their agent told me i should do that. Its not only unfair but also outside the law

Go to this link and re-enter your SNID and request for warranty repair service. http://www.acer.com/ac/cs/CZ/content/support
Be as brief as possible in describing problem, for example "Laptop suddenly wouldn't turn on"  Jack E/NJ
