Delay in internet connection(Acer Nitro 5 laptop.)

Hello! I have recently owned a Acer Nitro 5 laptop. Due to some circumstances, I tried to dual boot the laptop with Ubuntu alongside Windows but that turned out a complete disaster to me. Some UEFI conflictions didn't let me boot into Ubuntu. I am not pretty much clear why the dual boot didn't work on this laptop [AN515-53-55G9]. I was working great with Windows. So, I again completely reinstalled Windows.
After the reinstallation, everything was working fine except WiFi. I could not connect to WiF

i. I updated the Windows and all the drivers. After a lot of attempts, I could connect to WiFi, but the panel indicates WiFi 2 while clicking on WiFi icon on taskbar. Also, when I turn on the laptop, at first WiFi with cross icon appears on taskbar. Sometimes I had to turn on the WiFi manually while sometimes it takes 15 to 20 seconds for the automatic connection of WiFi. Also, the blue light just beside the USB port is always lit whenever I turn on the device. I am expecting it as due to some errors in wireless connection. Please provide me a fix for this issue.

Did you reinstall the Microsoft generic version of Win10. Or did you re-install the ACER specific version of Win10 that was on the ACER hidden recovery partition? Jack E/NJ

I had completely reinstalled Windows 10 again. I don't know why there were issues with the WiFi, but the WiFi was working after the full update.

Yes, I understand this. But what I'd like to know is if you installed the ACER Win10 version or the Microsoft generic Win10 version. There is a difference between these two versions of Win10. Jack E/NJ

I had installed the Windows 10 generic version. What I noticed was when I deleted the Acer Quick Access application, the WiFi did not work and its icon had a cross sign over it, so I had to reinstall the application, and the WiFi was working normal again. The application has some connection with WiFi. Happy to see your replies. Thanks a lot your support!

Hello! Thanks a lot for the confirmation. I was really afraid when I messed up with the WiFi. I didn't notice the light as I had bought the laptop recently.

Good for you. Try MintCinnamon for dual booting next time around. UEFI only from a GPT installation stick onto a GPT HDD. I've set up Cinnamon with the about the same look & feel as the last half-way decent Windows version --- in my opinion Win7. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/598047/#Comment_598047

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I need to use Windows for the designing purpose. Will be updating here whenever I will try a dual boot.
