Can VN7-591G use Kingston A1000 m.2 ssd?

JadecurtJadecurt Posts: 3Member New User
Hello, I'm from Malaysia and I have a VN7-591G.

I've been thinking of upgrading to ssd for a while and i made some research about it. I read somewhere that the m.2 slot in this laptop only supports sata m.2 ssd only and not nvme. And I also know that sata m.2 ssd are those old version of ssd with 2 missing pins right? But it seems that Kingston A1000, the ssd i'm interested on buying right now has that same design as the sata m.2 except it is said to be nvme ssd. Will my laptop support this ssd? I really need confirmation before buying because this ssd seems like the best bang for buck that I can get in my country right now

Thank you in advance
