2 two years ago I bought an external 4TB Verbatim hard disk USB3.0, which was shaped into two separate disks of 2TB, so no partitions.

I have emptied the hard disks and converted the MBR volume to GPT.
I now want to merge the two disks into a 4TB hard disk.

What should I do?

I there an Dos prompt command to do it?

    Good night Lex63 !

Have you tried the Disk Manager of Windows itself?
It is only possible when partitions do not have system allocation.

Via CMD can do following the links:
    https://www.partition-magic-server.com/howto/merge-partitions-and-unallocated-space.html
    https://www.resize-c.com/howto/merge-partitions-cmd-diskpart.html

If there are 2 physically separate drivers, it is not possible to merge the two.
    They are completely different units.

    UPDATE

    THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.

The JMS539 chipset in the external Verbatim enclosure was the problem, those cannot more handle than 2TB partitions.  I have buy a new Enclosure that can support 6TB, i have removed te old partitions and make one new now i have one drive from 3726 GB.

The Toshiba MD04ACA400 4TB hard drive work now fine.
