XB271HU Overlapping image

Hello,
I have the known issue with the image overlapping on my XB271HU.  I understand this unit is supposed to have a 3 year warranty, and I purchased it 4/26/18 with a delivery of 5/1/18.  I am being refused warranty coverage through chat, despite this being an issue from day 1.  I am unable to message anyone due to being a new member.  Would someone please reach out to me so we can get this resolved?

    I have talked to Acer Warranty support, and they are telling me my warranty is expired despite the status showing 2 more years available.  Was hoping that I could find someone here to talk with from Acer to escalate this

    Hi @Acer-Manny can you please help me as well? I have the same model XB271HU, firmware 20170116. I don't have permission to send PMs here. Is there any way I can update the firmware without having to send the monitor in? Thanks

    Hi _ted_,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Acer monitor, unfortunately, you're not able to do the firmware update yourself, it will have to be sent in for repair at your local Acer service repair center.

    I'm having this same problem. When I contacted Acer tech support, they said they don't know what firmware I'm talking about, said my monitor is out of warranty, and that it would cost a minimum of $300 for me to send it in to their repair centers.

    Is there any way I can get a list of local repair centers or something that could take care of this? Thank you.
