Hi,

the following information should be needed in order to get an answer / solution:

-- General Information --
Acer A717-72G
1Tb HD
256Gb M2 Card
Windows 10 Home 64bit
Windows is up-2-date as per 04 may.

-- Bios Settings --
FW version 1.25
Settings Information: SATA MODE = RAID
Settings Main: SATA MODE = RST WITH OPTANE
               XHCI MODE = ENABLED

HDD0: INTEL SSDPEKKW256G7 --> Boot Priority Order
HDD1: WDC WD10SPZX-21Z10T0

-- Bootable HW --
USB3.0 Stick with Fedora Core 30 64bit

Question / Issue:
I want to install Linux on this laptop. I booted up from the usb disk, and fedora loaded a desktop environment, offering to install linux.
The installer started, and i noticed that only HDD1 was recognized by the installer.
However, windows is installed on the HDD0, and HDD0 is also the destination drive for Linux.

I got advised to change SATA MODE RAID to AHCI.

How do i do that?

Thanks
