    Hi,
Go to BIOS screen by pressing F2 at start, move to Main tab and check whether the Touchpad is in Advanced mode, if it is in Basic mode, switch to Advanced mode.

If you want to find out the Device in your laptop, you most probably have a HID compliant mouse with either Synaptics driver or Elantech driver, go to Device manager, go to Properties of HID Compliant mouse, go to Details tab, select Hardware IDs with the dropdown arrow, then look whether Syna or Elan mentioned as highlighted in my snip.

rohit712112 on all acer laptops its FN+F7 to disable the touchpad :) FN+F6 its to switch of the display and FN+F5 Switches the display output between the display screen, external monitor (if connected), and both i have been with acer since 2009/10 and the keyboard fn key features are the same in all normal size models :)
