Since I bought my computer two year ago (Acer Aspire Z3-715, 16 gig Memory) copying a file is a real pain in the ... even with windows 7 or 10 still the same it take exactly (50 min) to copy a (3 gig file) to a USB drive or external hard drive, I try (ExtremeCopy and Fastcopy, also Ultracopy) and still slow ...   my question is: if there a way for me to tweak my computer to fix that copying problem ???  Help me someone    pleeease!???     :o(

Which USB port are you using? Some are 2.0 and some 3.0 on your model. You might expect slow access with a 2.0 port or with a 2.0 device in a 3.0 port. 50 minutes seems excessive even so.

Yes I use the usb 3.0 but still very slow for copying... even if I copy 1 gig file to a usb key or drive it was always slow... So I wonder if there is someting that I can do to make it like normal coyping ????      Thanks for your answer...   :o)

I think the first step is to do some more investigation. There are lots of free programs that will run speed benchmarks for you, try them both when you are running your normal environment and then boot into safe mode and try them again. That will give us an idea where the speed really is, and whether it's some background task that causing the poor performance.
