No loadable device message?

My laptop (2015 model) cut out and now when I turn it on I get a message that reads "no loadable device", I think this could mean that I have a lose connection in my hard drive, however I have recently had trouble with my fan being excessively more noisey than normal, I don't know that that would make much difference but thought it was notable.

Have some very important deadlines approaching so any advice would be helpful.

Is all the information I can get about it at this point as it won't turn on. Therefore not sure if the category type is correct, if not please let me know as I'll change it.

Thank you

    Good Morning elliemaekirke !

Checked if the HDD is recognized in Bios?
Are there any important files in it?
