My Predator PH315-51 will no longer show my D drive (Samsung 860 evo). It does show up if I boot into bios but it does not appear en Disk Management or Device Manager.  It was working just fine, these are the steps I have taken:
1.  Conected the SSD to a old laptop that had an empty bay.  All information is ok and accessible.
2.  Connected an old, but working 500gb HDD to my predator to see if it picks it up.  Bios shows it but not the manager programs.
3.  Booted in Bios and pressed F9 to reinstall default values.
Can it be the physical cable? Or is this a buggy windows update? Any help would be appreciated I'm still under the warranty but I'd hate to have to wait 3 weeks to send it to get fixed.
Attached are some photos of what I just described.

Go to the elevated command prompt. Enter 'diskpart'. At the diskpart> prompt enter 'list disk'. What do you see?. Jack E/NJ

It does not list the drive using cmd + diskpart.
I believe it's either the sata cable or (hopefully not the port itself).
It no longer appears in the bios unless I shift click restart and manually make the computer boot there.
Not sure what else to do to trubleshoot.

Try your drive in another device/dock/adapter might also be the drive faulty of if you have another 2.5" sata drive try it in the laptop to see if its really the cable or the drive itself

I also think it's the cable or its connectors. Try reseating the connectors at both ends (mainboard & drive) a half-dozen or so times to try to clean the contacts. Jack E/NJ
