Hello, I have updated my bios to 1.25 to fix the keyboard backlight timer issue, however I have followed all th steps and disabled in the bios and saved all settings. However, the keyboard backlight timer still turns off the keyboard lights after 30 seconds. Is there anything else that I should be doing? otherwise I do not think this BIOS version is disabling the backlight timer as it suggests it does. I have a NItro AN515-52 (core i7 with a 6GB GTX 1060)

Make sure the BIOS info page indicates v1.25. If yes, nothing further you can do right now except wait for another BIOS update. Jack E/NJ

restart your system press f2 at the Acer logo, enter BIOS settings and under the General tab the Keyboard on off is there

Thanka for the replies, yes I've done everything as per Acers instructions and the bios does state it's 1.25 and the backlight timer is disabled. This is definitely an issue with bios version 1.25 not applying the setting correctly. Hopefully Acer will respond and correct this annoying issue and give users the ability to change their backlight timer

That's ok, it must just be Acer not rolling out the bios correctly, will wait for them to fix and roll out another version.
