When I use DP cable with my H277HK  monitor, I can get 4K at 60Hz but when I use my new, high quality HDMI cable (Vanco Premium High Speed 2.0b HDR HDMI kabel - 0.30 m) I only get 4K at 30 Hz. Is that what's to be expected?

Thanks, @Du_little but that doesn't answer my question. According to the list, I should be able to have 4K at 60 Hz when using HDMI 2.0

I suspect the monitor's HDMI port is 1.4 and this is the reason you can't output higher than 4k30hz.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
