HI,
I have an Acer Aspire XC704 desktop.Windows 10 ,"upgraded from Windows 8" I believe.Have had it for 3 years.
from day one I had problems with the speakers  stopping working and I needed to reboot it.it happens very often.I got a few tricks to how to fix the problem but all need rebooting.first,why's this happen? how to fix it once and for all without having  to reboot?

    Are your drivers properly updated?
    Have you tried other speakers?

    the speakers are built in .the sound device is faulty and I don't know what to do.

    Download an ISO Linux as Ubuntu and run in live mode.
    Test and see if the sound comes out normally.
    That way we can certify that it is a problem of hardware and not of software.
