Hey, I bought the Acer predator 300 a couple of months ago, but recently I am facing a weird issue which is the fans are running so fast (around 4500 RPM each) when charging the laptop, and when I unplug it directly decreases to around 2500RPM

so what's going on?

The CPU and GPU are working at their full potential, while the laptop is plugged in. When it is on battery the performance is reduced by 50%(you may even notice fps difference between plugged in and battery only). With the extra performance more heat is generated and in order to keep up with this extra heat, the fans have to work harder in order to cool the laptop, so it doesn't overheat.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Check your power plan when plugged in, and change it from default "performance" to "balanced".
