Hi, guys

Sorry for my english. I have one question. Recently, i bought a monitor LG 27UK670. I installed the drivers, connected with hdmi (dont know if is 1.2 or greater), and i saw that i run 4k with 30hz.

I have Intel Graphics 620 and Nvidia GTX 950M (2gb). Can i run my monitor at 4k with 60hz or not? If is yes, how can do this?

    Hello,
According the Intel specifications, the maxi resolution through the HDMI port is 4096x2304@24Hz and 4096x2304@60Hz through a DP.

No, unfortunately the hdmi port won't work at 60Hz but at 30Hz maxi.

If the device doesn't have display port, then you can't output 4K@60Hz, the max you can do is 4K@30Hz.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

The HDMI is the limitation here, so using an adapter won't do anything. You need a device that is able to output 4k60Hz via HDMI or have a DP.
I dont understand. You said that i need a device that is able to output 4k60hz via hdmi. My videographic support this. In other post said that only dp run 60hz in 4k. I am confuse...

It isn't about the graphics card that has to support it, where the port itself is the limitation. If your device has HDMI 1.4, even if the graphics card is able to output 4k60hz or higher, that is not gonna happen, because the HDMI 1.4 has enough bandwidth for up to 4k30Hz.

Both devices(monitor and PC) should have HDMI 2.0+ in order to have 4k60hz. If only one of them has HDMI 1.4 or lower, it won't work. Maybe the laptop has HDMI 2.0, but the limitation could be in the HDMI port of the monitor. In this case HDMI to DP adapter will work, as you can connect the HDMI 2.0(of the laptop) to the DP of the monitor, which supports 4k60hz, but if the laptop has HDMI 1.4, then there is nothing you can do to output 4k60hz. As the monitor has both HDMI and DP ports, I can safely assume that the monitor's HDMI port is 1.4.

By the way, there is no such a thing as HDMI 2.0 cable, only standard HDMI and high-speed HDMI cables.

How see if them have HDMI 2.0? My monitor is LG 4k UK670 27 inch. I think that he have hdmi 2.0... But how can i see if my laptop have hdmi 2.0? Only with test cable hdmi 2.0?

Edit: My pdf say this: my monitor can run 4k 60hz if HDMI ULTRA Deep Color is set on. So... question is about my laptop. How can see if he has hdmi 2.0?
