While playing games when i open the predator sense, i see that there is only usage in the cpu not in the gpu. It shows 0 % and when i move the cursor over it then it shows "gpu is idle" why is this so?? And also should i use the high graphics Nvdia processor in global settings in Nvdia control panel? I m only using the Nvdia high graphics processor  per program.

If you use your laptop mostly as a desktop, plugged into AC power for the majority of the time; I would set the nVidia card in your Global settings. I'd also review the 3D settings and check the 'Power Management Mode'. Depending on that mode selection, the card is either always on, cycled on and off, etc. Read the descriptions for each setting for a better explanation. If you use the laptop on battery a lot, you may not want maximum performance.

In 'driver controlled' mode, the card indeed will turn off at the desktop or when idle. During that time, Predator Sense shows it's idle. However, it should pick it up once the game starts and the card is active. If you try 'Maximum Performance' the card should be on always.

If you are positive the card is active, but Predator Sense does not see it; verify you have the latest edition of Predator Sense. This can be found on the Acer driver site by entering your model number.

@Prayag19 the nvidia gpu will only be used on games or any app that u have specifically setup for it that is why its always idle it uses the intel for all other tasks most of the times you have to setup the nividia gpu manually per game/app to work properly on nvcp or it will still use the intel even if its globally setup but the gpu temps should show up on PS even if idle if not showing ps its not working properly there are threads here on about to fix it
