I currently have a Helios 300 PH317-51 and I plan to buy a Helios 500 soon. I have a lot of important files (Adobe Products Projects, Games, Programs, Photos) that I need to move from the H300 to the H500. Unfortunately, I can't buy the H500 until I sell my ued H300, so I won't be able to use any method that requires the presence of both laptops. I can't use a LAN cable, I can't move them through the Wi-Fi router, and I can't use clouds or web-backups because my internet is terribly slow. Fortunately, though, the H500 has the exact same storage as the H300 - 256 GB of SSD and 1 TB of HDD. I don't know if I can even make use of that but it still comforts me. Anyway, I want to move around 190 GB from the SSD (Programs, games) and around 230 GB from the HDD (Projects, photos, movies). I am thinking of using an external HDD to move the files to from the H300 and then move them to the H500 once I get it. I'm also thinking of using an internal HDD instead, in which I'd put it in the H300, move the files to it, remove it from the H300, put it in the H500 once I get it, and leave it there as extra storage after moving my games to the original SSD. I think I'm gonna have some problems with programs specifically because moving them doesn't re-install them on the new computer and they have to be installed through the original setup, right? Games can be re-located in their launchers and Adobe project files are fine without doing anything. Programs might be a bit troublesome but it's not much of a problem. Anyway, Is there any other more practical or more efficient method I can use? If not, which one of those 2 do you think is better, external or internal HDD? Do you have any tips I can make use of in the process? I would really appreciate any kind of help! Thanks in advance! ❤

Using an internal HDD is the quickest and easiest way. You will have to reinstall games and other software, though.

However, you already have an internal HDD in your H300, so it's probably quickest to copy everything from the SSD to the HDD, and then replace that HDD with a spare one.

Alternatively, if you want to leave the HDD that's already in the H300 in it, get ahold of a SATA/USB adapter, i.e. something like this. Those adapters are cheap, practical, often come with a case to hold the HDD while they're connected to the adapter.

    Good night Destroya1221 !

As you reported on so many limitations already imposed, the best solution would be an external HDD.
Why no software already installed will be recognized in the new system.
You will have to reinstall all.
Only configurations and databases can be transmitted in addition to the standard files.
