Helios 500 AMD - high speed ram?

Had anyone gotten faster than 2400mhz ram working in the AMD model?  I picked up some gskill ripjaws 3000mhz cl16 ram, took the whole laptop apart to get the factory ram out, and it won't go over 2400mhz.  I can adjust timings via ryzen master, but speed tops out at 2400mhz.

Here's a gratuitous shot of it apart since I also decided to repaste with kryonaut while I was at it. 


 No temp difference, so I wouldn't bother as the factory paste looked good - if not a little excessively applied.

Unfortunately, the laptop doesn't support memory frequency higher than 2400MHz, as this is the max frequency supported without overclocking. 3000MHz can only be reached by running an XMP/AMP profile or manually overclocking it. As the device doesn't support memory overclocking(the BIOS is locked and it is very possible that the motherboard doesn't support it as well), therefore there is no AMP/XMP and there is no way to run the memory at 2400MHz+.

AMP- AMD memory profile
XMP- Extreme memory profile(Intel)

Unfortunately I don't know if memory overclocking can be enabled with BIOS modding.
