Acer Swift sf314-52 Bluetooth Issues Windows 1809

Not sure when it happened, but the computer can no longer find the bluetooth.  I've tried connecting different devices, but when I try to "turn on" bluetooth, it doesn't turn on.  When I go into the bluetooth settings to connect, it says it can't find the bluetooth hardware.  I've tried reinstalling the drivers, but nothing.

Model: Acer Swift sf314-52
Windows 1809

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Use the Intel Driver Support Assistant.  I'm pretty sure that it will install the latest Intel 7265 Bluetooth driver 20.100.3.1.   This driver should be compatible with Windows 10 1809.

If you still have problems, you can ask them in this thread if they were able to resolve their problem (although I think their problem is unrelated).

I've tried the latest on the Acer website.  I think it's v.19.06 or something?

Wow, this did the trick!  I removed the current bluetooth, and did a complete install of the new version.  Worked like a charm!  Thanks for your help!

Good deal.  That was smart on your part to remove/uninstall/delete the old driver first to be on the safe side.  I probably should have mentioned that.
