Had this laptop for about 2 years and battery is not working..i can't use it if its not plug into the socket. The laptop shows no battery is located! But this laptop has built in battery. Theres nothing i can do. I have done the steps stated on internet on the battery pin hole and all but its  not working !!!!! HELPPP

    1.Click the Windows "Start" button and right-click "Computer."

    2.Click "Manage," then "Device Manager."

    3.Click the "Batteries" section. A list of devices will appear.

    4.Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" device and click "Uninstall."

    5.Restart the laptop

    Did not work still state that theres no battery found

    Try the below steps and check if it makes any difference.

    1.Unplug the AC adapter from your notebook.
    2.Turn the notebook and look for battery reset pin hole.
    3.insert the paper clip and hold it for 30 - 40 seconds.
    4.Turn over the notebook one last time and plug in your AC adapter.
    5.Turn on your notebook.

    Post the above steps try BIOS defaults.

    1. While powering on the device press F2 to access BIOS
    2. Now press F9 and hit enter to set the BIOS to defaults
    3. Press F10 to save the settings

    Once the device restarts check if the battery gets detected. If not you would have to replace the battery.
