Press the WINkey+Rkey. Enter 'msinfo32.exe'. Click 'Components' folder in left pane. Click 'display' subfolder. How much adapter RAM is actually shown in the right panel. What is the name of the Intel adapter. Jack E/NJ
Intel HD 520, it has a Intel(R) Graphics Control panel with no options that i can see to add memory. I was able to go into reg edit and add a segment key and go from 128k to 512k successfuly, but i cant go any  higher. Thanks for the Reply JackE

The BIOS seems to be limiting the dedicated RAM allocation up to 1GB max out of 8GB total. I found that both ACER & HP typically limit integrated graphics to about 10% total installed RAM so that seems consistent. Here's a shot of my Switch with the same integrated 520. You might be able to squeeze another dedicated .5GB out of the system but it might be a compromise since you'll only effectively have 7GB RAM even when the adapter isn't using most of the other 1GB.  Jack E/NJ

Software that you're using usually controls the allocation. What is your full E15 model number? E5-xxx? Jack E/NJ

Thanks JackE & JordanB, I think upping physical memory from 8 to 16 is the next step since the CPU is a 4 core i7 it would be great to run the Notebook with higher video memory. You guys are great thanks for the help.
