Hello There,

My Predator laptop is unable to show/detect my WiFi network but shows other wifi networks near my house .I am able to connect to my WiFi network using my mobile or my Dell laptop .
The issue is random. Majority of time it doesn't show my WiFi network once I restart my laptop.
I tried resetting WiFi driver as well as updating wifi driver but it didn't help .

Could anyone help?
Thanks in Advance .

Try the below step and check once
power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip
in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.
BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the unit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that
it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart

Try adding your network manually... sometimes networks can have their name hidden to added protection.
One other thing you can try doing is uninstalling current driver and installing clean the version on acer site for your product.

I would say the issue is with your router as u said it will show other wifi networks so the adapter is working fine if the adapter was faulty it would not show anything at all ther is some kind of incompatibility with you router's wifi or it would work normally

Other devices connect to that; issue is only with this laptop.

@sri369 well that is weird if the OP has a usb wifi dongle he could try it to see if it connects (or even swap the wifi adapter from another laptop just to test it if it does the same or not) if so i would send it to warranty to replace the wifi adapter but that is really weird never came across this one before on a laptop but seen the same on my rubbish apple 4s recognizes some networks some it doesnt
