Just wanted to ask around as it seems very hard to find anything other than an ugly oldschool chunky black business laptop bag to put this Helios 500 in and protect it.

I have a couple of things I'm trying to use at the moment but none are perfect:

For a rugged/hard briefcase style, this thing I bought fits perfectly, and with some slight foam in all sides: https://www.thecasefarm.co.uk/shop/cases/k-series-k28/
Just not as tough/sturdy as some of the 'hardcases' out there -
there's a much tougher looking Casematix one for fitting the Helios 500 exactly but it's like 7 times the price...

I also have one of these and it's cheap af and it works but I really dislike SQUEEZING the laptop into it, every time it feels like the zip will break or the laptop's getting scraped: https://www.amazon.com/Multi-Color-Water-Resistant-Neoprene-Notebook-Briefcase

Something like available in a 17-18" size would be amazing but it just doesn't seem to be out there beyond 14-15" sizes at most: https://www.amazon.com/UZBL-Protective-Chromebook-Ultrabook-Classrooms/dp/B01KDVWYS6

I have a Chrome industries Ivan backpack that fits both the Arvok neoprene sleeve with laptop inside it - probably my most preferred way to carry - but the laptop must be turned vertical

This is also probably the only option that does allow you to comfortably carry the power supply brick too. You're talking a lot of weight overall at this point too, so the double shoulder straps/back carry style becomes pretty much the option...

I have a mission workshop Rummy messenger (single shoulder strap) bag that *almost* lets me carry the laptop horizontally but is just a few mm too small. I can carry the laptop turned vertically in it but everything feels balanced horribly and the top flap barely closes. Not very nice. The larger model The Shed of the same bag should definitely allow it to be carried this way though (even inside the Arvok sleeve too) and would be maybe the way I'd most like to carry but I can't afford the Shed bag!

What do you find best?
