phantom (ghost)" touch input on the rigt side of my Aspire R14 R5-471T laptop screen. This input disrupt running applications and interfere with ability to use the device. Tried most online fix to no avail. Plse help

    First open Device Manager. Under the Human Interface Device folder, uninstall the touchscreen driver. Exit Device Manager without trying to  reinstall anything. Reboot and let Windows redetect and reinstall the driver. If it doesn't resolve the problem, then (and only then) download and try updating the BIOS to v1.14 if you haven't done so already. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6397?b=1
