Katowice in Poland will be the host of one of the world’s largest
and most prestigious eSports event, the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM). The best
24 teams will compete for a lion’s share of the $1 million USD prize pool and
the World Championship in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). 170,000
fans are expected to attend the event in the Spodek arena and over 65 million
will follow the matches online.
IEM Katowice brings together the top gamers, fans and technology
like no other eSports competition. Acer recognized the tremendous potential
